Won't Somebody Stop Me?
Shelley's been busy the past few months.
A client (Drew Boyd of EES) said recently: "If Shelley's motor has an off switch, I haven't seen her use it."
This fall has been an especially busy period for Shelley; and she's still going strong.
It started with a series of on-camera videos for the Time Timer, a device that enables users to think of time as a segment, rather than a series of minutes. Shelley produced the series and starred as the on-camera spokesperson. The series features an interview with Time Timer inventor and president, Jan Rogers. In keeping with Rogers' worldwide success, the videos were translated into Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, German, and French.
Next came continuing education classes on Presentation Skills for the Cincinnati Bar Association and the UC College of Law. The CBA attendees awarded Shelley a perfect (4.0) score on their evaluation forms. Shelley is accredited to teach continuing education for both organizations, and will offer classes again this December.
For Ethicon-Endo Surgery, Shelley is producing a 12-month series of podcasts called The Mobile Marketer. These podcasts feature marketing experts from throughout J&J, and they're packed with best practices, case studies, tips and trends. By downloading the podcasts to their mobile devices, EES marketers can learn from the experts while they are constantly on the move.
And as always, Shelley has busily pursued her coaching practice - working with clients on presentations about United Way, innovation, Bariatric marketing, and new technologies to diagnose and treat arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat).
All this activity adds up to a full plate for most people. But Shelley says, "I have miles to go before I sleep." (Actually, Robert Frost said that, but Shelley could have said it, given the pace of her practice.)
Actually, Jan Rogers of Time Timer summed it up best: "This woman could outlast the Energizer Bunny."
So will Shelley slack off for the upcoming holidays? Not a chance!
She already has her Christmas gifts wrapped.
